Methodological explanations
Information on enterprises’ use of e-Delivery, i.e. registered electronic delivery services, is derived from the SSI-01 survey report: “Report on the use of information and communication technologies in enterprises”. The survey covers the use of ICT within enterprises. It is not relevant whether the ICT equipment or software used by the enterprise is owned by the enterprise or not.
The term ICT refers to information and communication technologies that process, store and transmit information in electronic form. These technologies include the Internet and other computer networks, information systems, computers and other computing devices.
The SSI-01 questionnaire is completed by legal persons, organisational units without legal personality, and natural persons conducting economic activity with 10 or more persons employed, and whose activity is classified, according to the Polish Classification of Activities (PKD), under sections A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, L, M, N, R and S.
The e-Delivery service is the electronic equivalent of a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. Through this service, public entities, citizens and businesses can use convenient and secure electronic delivery services that are legally equivalent to traditional registered mail. The e-Delivery service enables official correspondence to be conducted via the Internet, making the process faster and more efficient.
