An agricultural holding is understood as a single unit, both technically and economically, which has a single management (holder or manager) and which conducts agricultural activity.
A private farm is a farm of a natural person.
Land use is understood as a real use of agricultural land.

Notes
The presented indicator (5.a.1.b Proportion of women among agricultural holders in the total number of private farm holders) in the total number of heads of agricultural holding) is a proxy indicator to the one adopted in the official list of indicators of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The replacement of the original indicator (5.a.1.b Share of women among owners or rights-bearers of agricultural land, by type of tenure) is due to the inability to obtain data for it. The proxy indicator has been selected so as to most fully reflect the essence of the observed phenomenon.
