Hepatitis B (HBV) - according to the Tenth Revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Health Problems ICD-10: B16, B18.0 and B18.1 - infectious disease, the most common infectious disease of the liver in the world. HBV is transmitted through blood and other body fluids, through direct contact with infected fluid, sexual contacts without proper protection against infected persons, intravenous drug use with infected needles or syringes. The infection can occur during pregnancy or childbirth. |
