Internal R&D personnel, Working in R&D English name: Internal R&D personnel Definition: Persons working (employees, working owners and unpaid helping family members) in a statistical unit who contribute to the internal research and development activities of that unit.

FTE - full-time equivalents - conversion units used to determine the actual involvement in research and development activities; one full-time equivalent (FTE) means one person-year devoted exclusively to R&D activities.
