Methodological explanations

Internal R&D expenditures: Expenditures incurred during the reporting year for R&D work performed within the reporting entity, regardless of the source of the funds. They include both current expenditures and capital expenditures for fixed assets related to R&D activities, but do not include depreciation of fixed assets.
