Methodological explanations
Water treatment plants are one of the water management devices. Their task is to clean water from contaminants and adjust water parameters to the required condition before supplying to customers using the water supply network.
Data on the number of water treatment plants as of 31 December.
The number of water treatment plants built and modernised is given on the basis of data provided by the Municipal Offices and the Marshal’s Offices to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in form “RRW-2” – report on the implementation of investments in water supply and rural areas sanitation.
