Methodological explanations
The indicator value is the result of subtracting the values of the following two indicators:
Percentage of population using water systems in cities in the total population living in cities areas (minus)
and
Percentage of population using sewage systems in cities areas in the total population living in cities areas (minus).
Data on using water include the population living in cities areas in residential buildings and in collective dwellings connected to the using water systems.
Data on the use of sewage systems include the population living in cities areas in residential buildings and in collective dwellings connected to the sewage systems.
