Methodological explanations
Underground waters – water appearing in the rocks of the earth. Depending on the depth of occurrence of groundwater aquifers and the distribution of structures and the surrounding works are distinguished: subsurface water, ground water, underground waters, deep waters.
Exploitable resources of underground water intakes – the amount of underground water that can be withdrawn from an intake under given hydrological, technical and economic conditions, taking into account the demand for water and maintaining environmental protection requirements.
