A hospice is a medical facility of a medical entity or an organizational unit of a medical facility in which the medical entity performs medical activities such as stationary and 24-hour health services other than hospital services. The services may consist in particular in providing comprehensive health, psychological and social care for patients in a terminal condition and care for the families of such patients.
