Methodological explanations
Agricultural commodity production is the sum of sales of agricultural products to purchasers and at markets.
Commodity production does not include turnover between individual economic entities included in the same group of entities and sales of agricultural products by agricultural production cooperatives to members of these cooperatives. Since 2004, agricultural commodity production includes supplementary payments calculated for a given year to the area of crops.
