Methodological explanations
A national economy entity is a legal person, an organizational unit that does not have legal personality (including its establishments, branches, subsidiaries constituting its local units) and a natural person conducting business activity.
Agricultural and food products - these include live animals, products of animal and plant origin, fats and oils of animal or plant origin and their decomposition products, as well as ready-made food products, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, vinegar, tobacco and industrial tobacco substitutes.
REGON (National Official Register of National Economy Entities) is a collection of information on national economy entities maintained in an IT system in the form of a central and local databases. It is currently the only integrated register in Poland covering all entities of the national economy. Each entity has a unique nine-digit REGON identification number assigned by Statistics Poland, which is used in the banking, customs and tax systems, as well as in the processing of foreign trade data and other commercial and marketing systems.
