Goal 14 - Life below water

Post-secondary school – an educational institution based on the curriculum of a secondary school, enabling individuals with a general secondary education to obtain a diploma confirming vocational qualifications or qualifications in a profession after passing a vocational examination.

Occupation – the profession performed at the main place of work (according to the 2010 Classification of Occupations and Specialties), applies to individuals currently employed and those who have worked in the past (in this case, it refers to the last place of work).

Marine navigation technician – is a person trained to navigate a ship, plan a sea voyage, observe vessel traffic, and maintain bridge watchkeeping. They are familiar with navigational safety regulations, the operation of navigational equipment, and maneuvering procedures.

Marine engineering technician – is a specialist responsible for the operation, supervision, and maintenance of ship machinery and equipment. They are responsible for the operation of ship's power plant, auxiliary installations, and technical systems, ensuring their efficient and safe operation.

Port and terminal operations technician – is a profession related to the organization of port and transshipment terminal operations. This includes planning and supervising cargo operations, maintaining port documentation, coordinating transport, and ensuring the smooth running of logistics processes.
