Definition
The total number of traditional products registered in the list of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, established on the basis of the Act on the Registration and Protection of Names and Designations of Agricultural Products and Foodstuffs and on Traditional Products.

Methodological explanations
On the basis of the Act except the regulation on the registration of names at EU level, the Act also creates a List of Traditional Products. The list includes products whose quality or unique characteristics and properties result from the use of traditional production methods, which are part of the cultural heritage of the region in which they are produced and which are part of the identity of the local community. At the same time, traditional production methods used for at least 25 years are considered to be traditional. The Traditional Products List aims to disseminate information about products produced by traditional, historically well-established methods.
