Social assistance supports individuals and families in their efforts to meet their essential needs and enables them to live in conditions that are worthy of human dignity. Social assistance is provided in the form of cash and non-cash benefits on the terms regulated by the Act of 12 March 2004 on social assistance (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 901, as amended).
