Methodological explanations

Domestic traffic covers passengers for whom both the port of embarkation and the port of disembarkation for a sea journey are Polish ports.

A seaport is an economic facility located at the interface between land and sea, appropriately equipped in technical, technological and organisational terms to handle trade flows carried out by sea, as well as to service maritime and land transport modes involved in their carriage.
