Methodological explanations	Entities of the national economy are defined as legal units, namely legal persons, organisational units without legal personality, and natural persons conducting economic activity. Entities of the maritime economy are entities of the national economy whose principal activity is associated with the broadly defined maritime economy. Principal activity is determined using such information as value added, sales revenue, employment, and the activity designated as principal in the entity’s statutes or founding documents. Gross value of fixed assets is the value corresponding to expenditure incurred for their purchase or production, without deduction of depreciation (amortisation).
